Johns Creek Town Center

Member of Johns Creek Town Center Advisory Committee from 2020 to 2021, a panel that will review and provide feedback to City staff during the development of a Town Center Master Plan.

Johns Creek Arts Center

An Executive Board Member and Treasurer for Johns Creek Arts Center from 2020. Johns Creek Arts Center is a community arts center, a non-profit organization providing affordable quality arts education to the residents of North Fulton County, Georgia, and surrounding communities.

Johns Creek Parks and Recreation

Member of Recreation & Parks Advisory Committee from 2020 to 2021, providing input and recommendations to Johns Creek City Council in matters of policy of city-owned parks and the recreation programs.

Autrey Mill Nature Preserve
An Executive Board Member for Autrey Mill Nature Preserve Park from 2020. The Autrey Mill Nature Preserve Association is a non-profit organization that operates the preserve and historic buildings and provides all the environmental, heritage, and event programming offered to the public.
Johns Creek Cricket Association
An Executive Board Member and Treasurer for Johns Creek Cricket Association from 2020. A non-profit organization promoting the sport of cricket through youth cricket and healthy lifestyle activities.
Graduate of Leadership Johns Creek, Citizens Police Academy and Citizens Fire Academy
Mr. Tunki cares deeply for our community and was fortunate to get an insight into the City of Johns Creek through Leadership Johns Creek, Citizens Fire Academy and Citizens Police Academy.
During the Leadership Johns Creek program project work, he was able to positively contribute toward providing a long-term solution to allow for the sustainability, maintenance and upkeep of the Autrey Mill Preserve’s Butterfly Garden, Heritage Garden, and new Goat Farm. In addition, a permanent watering solution for both gardens and goat farm, drip irrigation system for butterfly garden and water pump installation to feed heritage garden and goat farm were implemented.
Chattahoochee High School
For three years, 2016 to 2019, served on the School Governance Council for Chattahoochee High School, where he was instrumental in building a commercial grade greenhouse to enhance students educational experience through practical application.
Johns Creek Construction Board of Appeals
He was a member of Johns Creek Construction Board of Appeals for over two years.

Mentoring Small Business Owners
Volunteer for mentoring Small Business owners through SCORE, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization and a resource partner of the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA). SCORE, the nation’s largest network of volunteer, expert business mentors, is dedicated to helping small businesses get off the ground, grow and achieve their goals.
The Shelter of Love
Served on the board of Shelter of Love (www.theshelteroflove.com) as a treasurer from 2017 to 2020, it is a nonprofit organization established to serve as an advocate against domestic violence. Their mission is to support victims, educate the community and provide preventative information as it relates to domestic violence.
